If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and the solo developer operating NomsAI ("we", "us", or "our"). NomsAI is a macro-tracking application that uses AI (Google Gemini) to estimate the nutritional content of meals from free-text descriptions, voice input, and barcode scanning. The App also allows you to log workouts, track water intake, save custom recipes, track weight, set dietary goals, and generate AI-powered meal ideas from ingredients you provide. It is an informational tool only.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using the App you confirm that you are 18 or over. If you are under 18, you must not use the App.
NomsAI is not a medical device and does not provide medical, clinical, nutritional, or dietary advice. Macro and calorie estimates are AI-generated approximations — they may be inaccurate. Do not use this App to manage any medical condition, eating disorder, or health emergency. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your diet or exercise regime.
Calorie and macro figures produced by the App are estimates. Actual nutritional content varies by brand, preparation method, portion size, and ingredient variation. We make no warranty that any estimate is accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.
Meal ideas and recipes generated by the App are AI suggestions only. They may not account for your personal dietary requirements, allergies, or health conditions. Always verify ingredients and cooking instructions before preparing any recipe, particularly if you have food allergies or intolerances. NomsAI does not guarantee that any recipe is free from allergens. If you have a food allergy or intolerance, do not rely on AI-generated recipes without independently verifying every ingredient.

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to any account we reasonably believe is being misused.
All content, design, code, and branding in the App are owned by or licensed to us. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
Our collection and use of your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Your food logs, workout logs, water intake entries, custom recipes, saved meal ideas, and weight data are stored only on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.
The App relies on third-party services including Google Gemini (AI), RevenueCat (payments), Apple App Store, and Google Play. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or accuracy.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, personal injury, or health consequences resulting from reliance on AI-generated nutritional estimates.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We may modify or discontinue the App (or any feature) at any time without notice. We may update these Terms from time to time; the updated date will be reflected above. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
You may stop using the App at any time. To delete your account and all associated server-side data, go to Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your access if we believe you have violated these Terms.
United Kingdom and EEA users: These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
United States users: These Terms are governed by applicable US federal law and the laws of the state in which you reside. You and we each consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in the state and federal courts located in your state of residence for resolution of any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App. To the extent permitted by applicable law, any claim must be brought within one year of the event giving rise to it.
