NomsAI is a mobile app that lets users track food intake by typing or speaking a meal description in plain language — "2 scrambled eggs on sourdough toast with butter" — and receiving instant macro estimates (calories, protein, carbs, fat). No barcode scanning required, no food database to navigate. All food logs are stored locally on the user's device and never uploaded to any server.

## How it works

1. User types or speaks what they ate (e.g. "large bowl of porridge with honey and banana")
2. AI splits the entry into individual items with estimated portion sizes
3. User reviews and edits any macro or quantity before confirming
4. Log is saved to device storage only
